Christians: is it awesome not having to take responsibility for your actions?

Theoretically you could have lived the most wicked life. Then when you take your final breath, convert to Christianity and you're "saved lol.

Yep. Not having a license sure doesn't seem to stop non-christians, though. Its not really the freedom to sin that is so great.

Its the freedom from it, and its consequences. So its not really"a license to sin" You see, both sin, and its results, were designed by the devil(a murderer) to deliberately murder. In reality, neither sin,OR ITS CONSEQUENCES, have any real right to even exist.

There is surely no better justice in all creation, than God's Own Hand of Almighty Mercy. Even as it is written, "who's damnation is just? " To live for the freedom of what the ALL GOOD God Merits in s Investments in mankind, rather than what mankind does for their errors, is surely awesome and freeing."Responce-Ability" Doesn't sound so bad if you really think about it.

However, its made of two concepts. A "response" to Given "ability"( Sounds like a positive thing to me, not a burden of blame or burden of proof, or burden of anything else for the matter.) The things that evil deserves for evil, get in the way of anything good ever being allowed to be. Sin and its consequences are anything but, taking "response for ability"(responsibility).

However, being only minded to the deservings of sin, is not taking responsibility, either. Its called, "sin consciousness", if you are minded on negatives like that. In effect, its pretty much worshiping satan, and fault, and wrong, and what it deserves.

Is that your problem with it if any? You just don't like good things being allowed to be, even if need be, despite the bad things in this world? No man will ever do anything adequate for God to be Good to him, not in anything.

God is Good, if a man deserves it or not, by God's Own Merits, not mankind's. God is Allowed to be Good to whosoever He wants. It is So if you don't like tough crap, for you!

The thief comes not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy. God is the Author of life, and not one evil thing shall ever even be worthy to remove the Merits of God's on Hand, even in the value of the most evil rotten person who shall ever live. Not for even all the evil there shall ever be, ever.

No living Creature is without the Good and Kind Merits and Investments of God, even written there upon their very soul( their very life). God has done nothing wrong, not to warrant the reward of s Own Efforts in every single one of them. Their faults can not subdue, .

If I do something bad then I (not Satan) am solely responsible for putting it right. If I do something good I am glad that I managed to avoid doing the opposite and I thank God. Jesus sacrifice was for all people - including you - but for anyone to benefit from that gift one must accept their own sinful nature (not make excuses for everything) and ask for forgiveness, thanking Jesus for taking our punishment upon If you choose to not accept a gift you will not benefit from it.

That's your choice. Forgiveness is a gift to those who truly repent. Those who believe there is no need for repentance are not forgiven and will suffer the consequences of their sin.

No one said that you were a bad person. However, everyone has committed at least one sin against G-d (see the book of Psalms chapter 14, verse 3; the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 7, verse 20). Abraham (see the book of Genesis chapter 12, verses 10-20), Moses (see the book of Numbers chapter 20, verses 7-12), and even King David (see the book of 2 Samuel chapter 11, verse 1--chapter 12, verse 14) sinned against G-d.

Isaiah went so far as to say that even our righteous deeds are like shmattes (filthy rags) to G-d (the book of Isaiah chapter 64, verse 6). Our rabbis call this sin nature of man the yetzer hara (evil inclination). Every one who has ever committed a sin needs to have atonement made for that sin.In other words, since sin is rebellion against G-d--even if it's just a little white lie, we need a way to set things right with G-d.

Otherwise, the consequences of sin are separation from G-d (see the book of Isaiah chapter 59, verse 2; the book of Jeremiah chapter 31, verse 30; cf. The book of Daniel chapter 12, verse 2). Yeshua serves as mediator between man and G-d--much like Moses, the Prophets and the Priests did (see the book of Exodus chapter 20, verses 18-19; the book of Numbers chapter 17, verses 9-13 chapter 16, verses 44-48 in some translations).

Thus, by believing in Yeshua the Messiah's atonement for sin, G-d forgives our sins and we are at one with G-d once again.

Sounds more like atheism. Do something bad, blame "religion" for the consequences. Christians believe that they are FULLY responsible for everything evil they ever do with no excuse.

And repentance isn't just a cop out to do what you want because you have to have an absolutely pure motive & if you *wilfully* sin at all, you're damned forever. Takes a lot of heart & toughness to be a Christian. Unlike atheists who just let Hollywood do the thinking for them then turn around & claim to be a free-thinker.

Man, you're still saying things that have been cleared up for 2000 years. Way to be standing faaaar behind in knowledge.

WAIT YOUR WRONG, if something bad happens Satan is to blame yes but god doesn't take the credit, no the person takes the credit and then they say"We had help from the Almighty lord". Giving full credit to another person on a good matter, yea, that's "totally" common.

I am Christian and feel every moment that I should live a holy life and be obedient to my God....for one thing he said he chastises those he loves and I feel he will punish me very well if I disobey his will for me......Satan has no power over me only what my God lets him have and God does let me be tempted so he can see what my level of obedience to him is......we will be rewarded some day for our deeds on this earth....

You are wrong comPLETEly. If we sin, WE are to blame for following satan's tactics, and if we do good, God gives us credit. Its up to us, which unfortunately humanity cant recognize.

Jesus saved us once, for this life that me and you are living right now. After you die, you and your "license to sin" may end up in eternal punishment, where it is to late to ask God for forgiveness that "satan is to blame for.

Don't talk stupid and read a Bible. Im being dead serious.

Because there will be punishment or reward. Jesus was a prophet sent by God to spread the word, he is not God and he didn't die for our sins, we answer for our own sins.

You are wrong. We have the choice to do a sinful act or a godly act. It's OUR choice.

You need a greater understanding of something before you insult it. Just because you don't understand something, doesn't mean you can just make up garbage.

Wow. Your ignorance is.....underwhelming. Speaking of strawmen, no self-respecting crow would even ruffle a feather at this one.

I can tell you are well read In scripture do you have a degree in divinity you are so wise.

And they say atheists are the ones who can sin all they want...

Evolution can do the same thing if you want it to.

Keep fighting the religious war. I can tell your life is thoroughly fulfilled.

That is if Jesus claim is even Real. If not they are all screwed.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
