Christians often post testimonies about God showing up in some miraculous way and delivering them?

Well god may not have showed up when I Wanted him to but he certainly did when I NEEDED him to... without fail!

The Apostle Paul answered this question in his letter to the Corinthian church concerning a "thorn in the flesh":2Corinthians 12:8-9: "For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."I, myself, suffer from a multitude of health problems, even blindness, but I keep going.

This passage of scripture is NOT referring to Paul's health, but rather, the trials and tribulations of ministry. Sometimes God seemingly doesn't answer, because we are seeking the answer we want, instead of what the answer really is:1) Yes2) No3) Wait awhileEither way.....God answers.

There are dozens of times throughout my life where I wanted God to fix something, to intervene, to heal...sometimes He did and sometimes He didn't. But, I do NOT believe that He failed me in anyway. He does not take orders from me.

He can see the big picture while I can only see as far as the "headlights. " Therefore, sometimes it's an issue of timing (not the right time) or it's not the right situation for me in the grand scheme of things. But, I think it is always a lesson for me, a molding of character, and a strengthening of my faith.

God doesn't need to show up since He is always there. A favorite song of mine has a chorus that was taken from words scratched on the wall of a WWII Nazi concentration camp:"I believe in the sun even when it's not shining,I believe in love even when I don't feel it,and I believe in God even when He is silent.

GOD NEVER FAILS. It's our excess of expectationand lack of "spiritual Knowledge" that cause use tosee zero's instead of numbers. Personal experiences verify the existence of God inones life.

But Satan also have s ways of invokingand causing supernatural events to occur to confusethe individual between God and Satan Read my hub's "Spiritual Warfare"...Divine and Unknown"and "How to know when you are Saved".

God's thoughts are not our thoughts s ways are not our ways and God sees things not as we see them. We may expect some illness or some problem or whatever to be responded to or acted upon immediately by God. That is wrongful thinking.

God will seek out the very best solution and response to our prayer. Sometimes the answer will come immediately, but most of the time, it takes time, for there is always more than just ourselves that God has to take into consideration, so s answer at the time is wait patience, sometimes .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
