The reason why it is bad to be on the internet sic on your computer during a thunderstorm is because there's a chance lightning could strike your house and send a power surge through your home's electrical system and kill you. The easy and safe solution is to run your computer on battery power until the storm has passed. As for just being on the Internet ... there are exactly zero reasons to avoid the Internet during a thunderstorm.
It is not the wisest thing, consider, lightning striking a utility pole nearby, can cause power surges that can harm electronic equipment. Even a 'brownout' can cause your computer to shut down loosing work. There are potential shock hazards as well.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
