Your right rats do need to be in a group other wise they get sad and depressed! If your mum doesn't like the tail you can get tail less rats or get a guinea pig because they also make good companions for rats too!
They bring lots of benefits with having pets, especially rats! The advantages that come with having rats are that they are Smart, funny, cute, clean, friendly, can be taught tricks, behave like tiny dogs, following you around and begging to be let out and begging for food, eat pretty much anything (although common sense should be applied here), use household objects as toys, cheap to keep and, aside from daily play time, very low maintenance and easy to care for.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
