Could most ancient civilization be democratic?

The Athenians circa 500 BC had a democracy. Other than that, I am not aware of any others. Caesars came to power many different ways; usually by bribing the troops and using them to overthrow the previous Caesar.

Sometimes the senate gave nominal support to the most powerful or most legitimate heir. But that was hardly a democracy. Prior to the empire, the Romans had a republic governed by an aristocracy of wealthy, professional public servants.

Yes, most of them were democratic but they won't be like the present day democracy system I guess. And, the indians were also democratic from the ancient times. In fact, india is the biggest democratic country in the world at present.

Thanks!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
