Could someone PLEASE explain to me why Fred Durst and Kid Rock are still alive and Adam Yauch is DEAD?

That is so sad about Adam Yauch! I was just telling my son how the Beastie Boys were the ones that were brave enough to have Public Enemy on tour with them. I never forget the first time I heard MCA's voice when he said "Now I chill real ill when I start to chill, when I fill my pockets with a knot of dollar bills".

So Hold it Now-Hit It was my favorite song by the Beastie Boys because it really made an impact in the Hip Hop community and the Beastie Boys proved that no matter what race you are, you can still spit hot lyrics. Such ground breakers! RIP Adam Yauch aka MCA!

Yeah I just heard. I wonder how the hip hop community is gonna take this; we've lost another massively influential musician. My condolences to his family and friends, and particularly the rest of the group.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
