Could someone please tell me the windows equivalent to rc.d scripts and the grub command?

Windows uses the Registry to maintain all the startup information as well as the contents of the "Startup" folder in the Programs/All programs menu. MOst of this can be managed via "msconfig" in Windows 9x through 7.. (Start -> run -> msconfig) Background services can be controlled by the Services Manager (Right-click on My Computer, Select Manage, then select "Services" or go to the Services control panel) As for grub, The windows boot loader is configurable through msconfig or manually, via the boot. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
