The King and I Such a romantic movie! Ms. Kerr was wonderful in every movie she made, at least the ones I've seen.

Can't forget The Chalk Garden and An Affair To Remember either. She made great movies even better.

It has to be The King and I ... ... mostly because it plays and plays on cable, so I've seen it a half dozen times over the years. Also because it's a musical and I have loved musicals since I was a little girl. .......... In looking back over the list of her movies, I remember seeing about half (those listed below) at a movie theater as I was growing up.So I only saw most of them once when I was young and do not remember much about them.

.......... Exceptions are "Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison, which I loved. And "An Affair to Remember", which was fabulous. Both of which were remade more recently with contemporary stars.

So I've seen both versions. As Anna in The King and I The Hucksters (1947) King Solomons' Mines (1950) Quo Vadis?(1951) The Prisoner of Zenda (1952) Young Bess (1953) Julius Caesar (1953) Dream Wife (1953) From Here To Eternity (1953)* Tea and Sympathy (1956) The King and I (1956)* Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison (1957)*+ An Affair to Remember (1957) Bonjour Tristesse (1958) Beloved Infidel (1959) The Sundowners (1960)*+ The Night of the Iguana (1964) Casino Royale (1967) Prudence and the Pill (1968) Witness For The Procution (1982) (TV) A Woman of Substance (1983) (TV) Sources: http://home.hiwaay.net/~oliver/kerrfilmography.html .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
