Did Jeremy actually hate playing Sherlock Holmes?

JB initially thought he was horribly miscast as Holmes, because his "sunny" personality was so different than the detective's moody nature. (He also had reservations because the character had already been portrayed so many times.) Early on, Jeremy said things like "I wouldn't cross the street to meet Holmes," meaning that he thought he had nothing in common with the character. However, such quotes are often taken out of context and used as "evidence" that JB "hated" Holmes.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
