Did roberts make a mistake in the inauguration today, or did Obama forget?

First Barack made a mistake and jumped in to early with "I B. H. O do solemnly swear."Then, Barack forgets part of the next line and cues Roberts.

Roberts then repeats the sentence differently (the correct version) a second time. €œfaithfully execute the office of President of the United States. € Barack repeats it the way Roberts first said it.

€œexecute the office of President of the United States faithfully”.

My history teacher talked about this. He said it was because Roberts had decided to try and say it from memory, and I'm guessing Obama will have practiced it in the way that it would have been read in the past to presidents, so Obama may have gotten it read in a different way, confusing him. With all the pressure, he would probably have memorized it, saying it in parts and paying less attention to what Roberts was saying than if he had not memorized it and was relying on Roberts completely.

I believe Obama had the oath memorized so it would go smoothly, and when Roberts muffed the line slightly it caused a moment of cognitive dissonance, causing the President-Elect to stumbl. I liked how Obama paused to stop the cadence of the interaction so that Roberts - and he - could recover from the gaff and move on smoothly. Â.

According to the Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC, Justice Roberts stumbled over the phrasing of the oath of office. Apparently, after Obama took the oath Roberts approached him and offered his apology for his error. However, it looked to me like Obama, although incredibly focused, seemed quite nervous during the oath (maybe it was the near 1.8 million people crowded into the national mall!

I heard on the news this morning that Justice Roberts didn't want to read the oath of office from a sheet of paper and instead tried to memorize the oath. Guess he didn't do so well. And I'll bet even stumblin' bumblin' GW got the oath right!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
