Did the Burmese government give Aung San Suu Kyi a fair trial?

I haven't seen the junta of Myanmar do anything fair since they took power. This, specifically, was political. They sentenced her for 3 years hard labor, commuted to 18-months of house arrest...which, at the time of her "crime," she had already been under for the majority of her life since 1990, when she won the election for PM.

The reason for the whole thing was to keep her out of the next election, which is funny considering that even if she won the election, the junta would still find a way to bar her from taking office, just like they did the last time. More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
