Did you hear about the earthquake we just had in Vancouver Canada, not real big but it felt really big...I'd hate to feel anything bigger?

The earthquake was always going to happen. The moon may possibly be the trigger that sets it off. The moon raises tides in the solid earth every day.

And that involves flexing the tectonic plates. And the highest tides occur around the time of full moons. But as far as I know there is no known correlation between full moons and earthquakes.
