I don't see progressives getting out that many people. Last election the popular vote was:Obama : 64,639,738McCain: 56,899,510A 7,740,228 vote margin or about 6%. If only 3,870,115 that went for Obama last time switched to a republican, the republican would have won.
That's only about 3%. Do you think that there are at least 3% of the Obama voters that won't vote for him in 2012? With a 41% approval rating I think that is not only possible but probable.
Beck's 600,000 or so and all of the sympathizers who weren't there can determine the next election. It doesn't matter how they looked to you, they went to a lot of effort to be there. I doubt that Obama could draw that kind of crowd these days. I doubt that any Democrat running for office these days would attend an Obama rally.
You progressives just don't get it and you never will. Rock 62 months ago.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
