Ditching Cable. What's the best streaming alternative? Ideally I'd get Hulu, Netflix - maybe YouTube, iTunes. Is there a box that does all?

There are no boxes that I know of that do all of these things, unless it's a "build your own box" kind of thing, but that takes some serious know-how. The closest thing I can think of is the TiVo. The latest TiVo lets you stream both Netflix and Youtube videos through the internet connection.

But it doesn't do either Hulu or iTunes. Hulu will be the most difficult one to get. The broadcast networks who provide all the content of Hulu don't want people to be able to watch Hulu on their TV.

Networks get a lot more revenue from people watching TV with 18 minutes of commercials per hour, rather than 2 minutes per hour on Hulu. So they have tried to prevent Hulu from going on set top boxes. Boxee is one of those boxes, and Hulu just encoded their signal so it doesn't work on Boxee any more.So if you're looking for a device that does the most of those items you listed, I'd go with the TiVo.

But if you need something that does them all, you'll have to build a box yourself.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
