Django: How to carry model form data from one page to another, and back, without commiting to the DB?

Having done the very similar requirement by working around the formset tools, I completely agree that going hoops and bounds to understand/customize the formset is totally not worth it.

Idea A: Store the uncommitted data in the session until everything is ready for commit. Each form/roundtrip to the client just adds/updates the accumulating data. If they abandon it you only have crap lying around until the session is destroyed.

You can save pretty much anything to the session.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
