Do flowers drink warm water faster, slower or the same rate as cold water?

Who cares, I'm sure some geeky, nerdy scientist has wasted taxpayers money at some time to do the experiment, the result of which will have a lasting benefit to mankind.

If the water is too warm it will harm the roots. If it's too cold it will also harm the roots. The water should have the natural temperature of your environment.
