Do I have to pay for an item if I canceled the order 2 months before it shipped?

Similar questions: pay item canceled order months shipped.

It depends It depends on the situation. If you made a custom order that required a specific creation time, and is not of similar value to another buyer, then yes, likely you are responsible to pay regardless of when the item was shipped. On the other hand, if this is an item that was mass produced and sitting with thousands of others just like it on a warehouse shelf, then no, you shouldn't have to pay (unless there was a specific rider to the agreement that 'all deals are final').

Hopefully you put the purchase on a credit card and you can ask the credit card company to arbitrate the matter. Call your credit card company and refuse to pay the charge. Usually CC companies want ot keep their customers happy (or happily paying 15% interest, rather) so they will work out a solution with the vendor.

If you already have the item, you might get stuck with the shipping charges to return it, but that's probably way cheaper than paying for the item itself.

Hopefully not! The only way you would have to pay is if it stated when you purchased the item "All sales are final. ".

However, since it was cancelled before it shipped, I'd say you still had a leg to stand on. You could definitely argue that you had not purchased the item and had not taken posession of it so you should not have to pay! Call customer service and argue.

I assume the item was shipped and you received it? If you have not opened it- just return it to the company. If you opened it- send it back with a note that the order had been cancelled and you were not accepting it on that basis.

Don't let them make you pay for something you didn't want to begin with. Tell them that you are not paying because you had not purchased the item.

There should be no obligation to pay for an item that was canceled before shipping. For example, see the following Amazon policy:Cancel Items from an OrderYou can cancel your order for any item sold by Amazon. Com, provided that the order has not yet entered the shipping process.

Visit the order summary in Your Account. If we can recognize you as a customer with any unshipped orders, you will see a box to the right. Click the relevant link in that box to visit the order summary page.(If you do not see that box, click here to .

This would be something to ask the company you ordered from... But I know from consumer laws if you didn't order and it arives at your house such as gevalia coffee...we canceled that 3 times...2 in writting and one over the phone....and they sent us at least 6 shipments before htey finally cancelled it...we didn't have to pay for any of them after the cancelation. Another thing is that my old neighbor would us my info to get scholastic stuff for her kid. I knew it was her cuz it was so obvious that I wasnt ordering it considering I don't have a child and I really wouldnt order stuff like that to give away to someone unless it was books becuase children need books.

WE got all types of disney crap. I finally a week after we moved got scholastic to put a note in ther system that I do not have children, I do not want the stuff and I no longer live in that town. The neighbor did that to me a total of 15 times!

Scholastic never got the hint when i'd call up mad and tell them I didn't order anything from them and I don't have children. I never gave the stuff to the neighbor either. I always took it out to the abused womens shelter for the children there.

I never had to pay for the stuff and they always said not to send it back to them and that I should just donate it... Thats what I did... I have canceled orders on amazon...

No! You most certainly do not. Refuse delivery of the item if you haven't opened it.

You can even drop the package at the post office and refuse it there as long as you haven't opened the box, otherwise you might have to pay to send it back... although in this case I think the company should pay. If paid by a credit card, call the company and dispute the charges... or your bank if you used a check card. And call the company and nicely explain that you canceled this order and you would like them to send a full refund, as well as a shipping label so you can return it at no cost to yourself... this is their mistake, not yours.

And before you call, see if you can find the cancellation confirmation e-mail they (hopefully) sent you.

" "How can I exchange an item ordered that has not shipped yet?" "An order I placed was shipped, but returned by the recipient. What do I do about that? " "I canceled my amazon order before they shipped it, but why did they charge me for the items I canceled?" "Can I order a book from the US and have it shipped it to Malaysia?

Can every item in amazon. Jp be shipped internationally?

An order I placed was shipped, but returned by the recipient. What do I do about that?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
