Do indian ringnecks make good pets?

Your raising this question probably because you are considering only dogs and cats as pets. India has been a country which takes great care of animals like cows, bulls, horses, goats, donkeys, hens, parrots and what not as pets. History of Indian villages stand testimony to this fact.

In the case of dogs and cats, the apprehension in India is about the rabies and that is why many people are afraid of keeping dogs and cats as pets. This is due to lack of awareness as to immunisation of a dog against rabies and nerve disorder. But those who have pets, whether it is dogs or other animals mentioned in the opening para of my response, they take care of it really well.

One should visit the pet hospital in Chennai, Vepery, to physically ascertain this fact. That hospital is truly better maintained than even the hospital for human beings! Secondly why are you prejudiced against cows and goats, I do not know, by your statement "they like taming animals like cows and goats more than dogs and cats...".

Are not cows and goats pets in your view? More over, Indians are well aware of the usefulness of dogs as a true companion and guardian of the house and therefore love them too. Please visit the dog shows in Chennai to see this fact yourself.

For your information, I have a German Shepherd as a pet and we, in our household, are so fond of it, that despite constant problems associated with German shepherds in this country-fungal diseases mainly, as they are yet to acclimatise themselves in this country because of humidity and temperature.

Most so called pet lovers in india have no civic sense,, I see a lot of families owing dogs as pet but then they don't train them and they make thier dog poo anywhere and basically in front of other ppl lawns or houses,,they won't evn clean that up So its like thier delight is neighbors burden Because in india we don't hv system and laws of punishing such uneducated ppl I suppose in america if your pet poos in public places you got to clean it or it can be reported and you are fined. So till indian constitutions formally declares such laws of punishing such offenders Indians are better off with few of so called pet lovers,, personally if I got money to spare I will spend it in charity not on animals..that are supposed to live in wild.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
