Do lynx live above or below ground?

A lynx spends most of its time above ground. They are large wild cats and are very efficient hunters. They are excellent climbers and may spend part of their time in trees, though most of the time, they are hunting small animals in underbrush in forests.

When they have a litter of kittens, the female lynx may seek out a burrow or hollow in which she can give birth.
