No its not many places will not hire if a tattoo is visible.
People seem to use the term willy-nilly in connection with whatever opinion they have about how things should be. No, it is not a violation. It is both legal and not necessarily inappropriate.
Companies often prefer to make sweeping "content neutral" policies rather then singling out certain content. (ie many companies may pass a rule against T shirts with slogans on them so they don't have to bother sorting out what slogans are offensive.) Many older people still see tattoos as a sign that you are "trashy", low-class, or at best rebellious. Companies don't want to offend potential customers.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
