As a filling up breakfast you should do plenty of "ZIKR" This is the best ever that will fill you up all day. By performing Zikr (remembrance) of our creator ALLAH this will fill you up and also help you to function all day. Fasting is a must for all muslims who are old enough under Islamic law.
Whoever does not fast because he denies that it is obligatory is becoming a kufur, if a person does not fast because he is lazy or heedless, that makes him a kufur. The correct view is that he is in serious danger because he has forsaken one of the pillars of Islam on which there is consensus that it is obligatory. And he deserves to be punished and disciplined by the ruler in such a manner as to deter him from this.
He must also make up the fasts that he has missed and repent to Allah. Whoever breaks their fast or doesn't keep a fast has committed a serious major sin by violating the sanctity of Ramadaan. Fasting Ramadaan is one of the pillars of Islam, because Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): O you who believe!
Observing As-Sawm (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqoon (the pious). Observing Sawm (fasts) for a fixed number of days, but if any of you are ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days. And as for those who can fast with difficulty, (e.g. an old man), they have (a choice either to fast or) to feed a Miskeen (poor person) (for every day).
But whoever does good of his own accord, it is better for him. And that you fast is better for you if only you know. The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’aan, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong).
So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadan i.e. Is present at his home), he must observe Sawm (fasts) that month The Punishment for not fasting during Ramadan without a valid excuse without having a legitimate excuse or being ill is for not fasting for one day the person has to expiation, it means to free a slave; if that is not possible then you must fast for two consecutive months; if you are unable to do that then you must feed sixty poor persons from the local staple food. You must also seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him; you must observe the fasts that Allah has enjoined on you and sincerely resolve not to break the fast in Ramadaan again.
You must also feed one poor person for each of the three days because of your delay in making up the fasts until after the following Ramadaan. You need to be taught islam in a correct view, right now I admit you are a total failure.
I think as a Muslim we should not sneak in food if we are fasting since that is the point of fasting... Since Allah can see our every move and your not fooling anybody but yourself. By the way if you think we can not fast everyday of Ramadan, many did it before us such as many prophets peace be upon them. Ramadan is a way to feel how the poor feel, not to sneak in food.
But I am not here to judge anyone, I am just trying to help you if you cannot fast because you are sick, traveling, etc.. Allah (SWT) will forgive you and you can fast the days after. I think for suhoor (when you eat BEFORE sunrise) eat dates since that is what the prophet used to eat or fruits. Depending on your mood you usually eat what you want.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
