Do we need tougher gun control laws?

Where I live, in NYC, you can buy a gun on most street corners for $20 or a hit of crack. Gun laws only take the guns away from law abiding citizens...not criminals.

Gun laws and regulations allows law enforcement to act if they see a violation. Suppose there was absolutely zero laws against carrying firearms anywhere. Any student can walk into a school carrying an assault weapon.

The fact that other students or teachers are also armed won't prevent people from being killed. Gangs can walk down the streets fully armed and the police can't do a thing until they start shooting. People will use guns to settle parking disputes, and other such incidences where anger prevails.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
