Do you ever hear birds chirping outside your house in the morning?

Oh, yes! Often I hear them soon before sunrise, so those little rascals begin stirring early. Rather than being a morning "lark", I'm a "night owl" whose bouts of insomnia often keep me awake until the wee morning hours.

The best thing about retirement is that I no longer have to force myself to get out of bed with only three hours of sleep! Even when the birds' singing awakens me, I can go back to sleep until I've gotten at least six hours of sleep. By then, their early morning chorus has ended....Birds' singing sounds cheerful to me, even when it wakes me briefly.

My wife and I are most often awake until 6 or 7 in the am because we are retired and I believe we have our days and nights mixed...or we're vampires. In any case, birds start chirping outside our home at about 4:15 am. We are kind of puzzled at that because it is still very dark out and they're not flying around.

They don't have showers to take or little bird outfits to put on for work. I think this kind of behavior needs investigating. Congress isn't doing a whole lot these days.

Maybe some of those pinwheels could look into it.

Yes, they wake me every morning......sometimes the sound is wonderful but when I hear them singing away at 5 am and I don't have to get up till later, it can be a little annoying. Of course, when the bitter cold winter rolls around and daylight doesn't come till 7, I miss the sound immensely.

Every morning we hear them. Not so much in the winter , but spring , summer and fall they are in the trees all around us.

Yup, If I don't hear them, then I am concerned and begin a cat safari. Now, don't misunderstand, the neighborhood - mobile homes nestled close to each other, is full of wandering cats. No problem as long as they stay out of the back garden.

But now and then a feral cat did some stalking, found its bounty, and code of silence is broadcast. Except for the heroes of course who attack, attack, and attack freeing the land of the predator - mocking birds - with their cool demeanor.

Well, yes, of course. More like every day. I'm grateful that I still have all my senses intact so I can.

Yes. Science has shown that the pitches of bird chirps open up a plant's stomata wider to allow for increased gas exchange, what we would call breathing. Wider stomata allow plants to grow faster and bigger.

Oh yes! The morning birds have such a happy sound. There is also a hawks nest nearby and in the afternoons we could hear that wonderful strong voice of the hawk.

Yes, it's a beautiful sound to wake up to, especially to hear the lovely song of the blackbird, if they started an hour later it would be even better!

Oh yes. And there are some mornings where I really do NOT appreciate it. Lol!

I hear Mourning Doves, Redwing Blackbirds and Robins this morning. It`s a sure sign of spring that they are all back from wintering in the South. Mourning Doves are my favourite peaceful-sounding birds.

Yes, all the time, but spring and summer are the noisiest. Some chirps, tweets, and coos are nice. But others are plain annoying, especially if they wake up your baby.

The hammering by the woodpecker is the funniest because it seems surreal at times. But the doves take the prize because they coo all morning long outside our upstairs bathroom window: they decided to nest in the gutter near the downspout.

Always. Since I live in a neighborhood that is situated by a rice field, seeing birds flying around and hearing them chirping is a common thing for me.

I heard them sometimes mostly in the afternoon. Listening to them is really enjoyable. Most of the time, after work I enjoy listening to them.

They are very delicate and beautiful. I also love feeding them nuts, grains, and raw peanuts. It makes me feel better to see birds somewhere else then in my plate.

Even tho there is many claims that they are nuisible to the cities because they repoduce often. It remains impossible for me to stop spending valuable time alongside my favourite birds. There are two types of birds you can possibly meet.

Forcefully, you won't want to meet the birds of prey. These are the most beautiful and dangerous of all birds. They usualy hunt small animals like: ( pigeons, rats, gerbils, small birds, ect.. )If your dream was to see a live bird once you see a real hawk, even a small one you will find out that they are awesome.

I do nowadays; I hear them in the evening, too. Spring seems to be, finally, on its way to Nunavut, Canada. Yippee!

I sure do hear them. They start at 5.10am every morning. It's lovely to hear them, but it's hard getting back to sleep after.

We bought a new build and hav a variety of birds all day everyday but in the first few weeks we kept find dead birds around the outside of the house. We couldn't work out what was killing the birds and why they were dying outside our home. We blamed something paranormal.

One day I found a dead owl and during the evening my daughter called me to her room, in the window with the dead of night behind it, we could see a fine white print of that owl where it had flown into the window to its death. The printed residue must have been the natural oils of the feathers - but we wondered if the windows must have reflected the sky and looked like they were holes in the wall for the birds to fly through. As we have adorned the windows with blinds, curtains and the kids have stickers etc, they are no longer a death trap...thankfully.

Yes, and they are lovely. Now that It's summer they seem to chirp even louder than in winter. On most Saturday mornings they sound like a symphony and I live in a loud city but they manage to get through.

I love the sounds of nature. I hear them when I'm at home and also here at my office. I hear them at night too, although sometimes annoying in the middle of the night, it is assuring to know that we share this world with many wonderful things.

Unless it's winter I do, and even then most of the time I here them in the morning. It's not the chirping I mind, it's the cawing from crows and other bigger birds that bugs me.

Every morning! I love it. I have mockingbirds (I'm from Texas, go figure), cardinals, sparrows, and thrashers who have taken up residence in my trees this year and I'm loving their songs in the morning.

As cliched as it is, yes. Altough I personally do not like waking up to the it, I would much rather wake up to the sound of rain gently falling.

Yes and sometimes I can hear my cat hitting my window trying to dive at them. Haha I think the hover by the window on purpose.

Yes, every day. I much prefer the chirping to the woodpecker we used to have that would come and peck on our window every morning at 5 am.

Yes I do...and when at our caravan up the coast we get seagulls on the roof every morning..never need an alarm call thats for sure! Just a shot gun!

Yes! This is glorious! I enjoy it every day,especially before the sunrise,and after sunset.

I consider birds chirping,together with the beautiful scent of small white orange flowers, one of the highest pleasure in life. Why? Because while I was in USA, birds didn't sing.

Flowers didn't smell. Now,in my place this is the symphony of scents and chirping!

My wife and daughter and I were talking about this at dinner tonight:Daughter says, it is lovely, even at 4:30 in the morning, because the bird songs in the early morning are different and cooler than later in the morning. ( I don't know if this is true, maybe it is just different birds at different times)Wife: (who brought up the topic) The birds here in Suzhou are really much nicer, even early in the morning I love to wake up to their songs. But in Nanjing they are not as nice, simpler and coarser.Me: I love to wake up to birds at any time of the day.

It is actually amazing to me that the birds can still live here in the most polluted part of the Chinese east coast. But they do and they sing happily in the morning for all of us, the peons and the polluters all the same.

There is this tree across the street from my building, almost on level with my apartment and I swear, the birds start chirping while its still dark out. And although I cannot see them, I know they're in that tree! I like to say they are giving their morning report - where the good worms are and all!

Yes! I used to live in the farm and I love it their. Most of the things that you need is free..there are lots fruits in our backyard because my grandparents planted it their.

All the time, even in raining. I like that, which makes the universe more peaceful and harmonious. From my window, I can see seagulls flying about over Saint John river, splendid clouds in sunsets, and birds flying and chirping in woods.

Far too many! There a number of trees in line all close together right outside my bedroom window. They also start to chirp simultaneously well before its daylight!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
