Do you need a passport if you are travelling from the England to Dublin (ireland)?

EU citizens just need a valid passport or a valid national ID card to travel to other EU countries. No further passport validity required. http://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/tra... .. http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/tra... .. Jeroen: The six months passport validity requirement is based on an old British tradition of a time without electronic means of communication.

Some British traditionalists and some lazy travel agents still advise travelers within the EU to hold a six months valid passport. NiNI: Ireland does not issue national ID cards; Irish citizen need their valid passport for travelling within the EU.

Your passport is valid for travel right up to its expiry date. Don't listen to the 6 month nonsense!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
