People like Brent have a blind spot – there’s a difference between how they see themselves and how other people see them. That’s what’s funny. Someone like Andy Millman from Extras is too smart for his own good; he knows there are people better off than him and he hates it.
Pincus is like that – clever and successful but angry because he’s surrounded by idiots. It’s never good to point out you’re the cleverest person in the room. It doesn’t get you anywhere.
