Do you still buy greeting cards?

YES! (:)) And when I find exactly the one I'm searching for, I'll pay the extra money with no qualms, especially if I know I'll brighten up someones day.

Yes, for occasions such as birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day and the like. I'm not crazy about the exorbitant prices, though. Teeny little prices printed on the back of the cards lead to sticker shock at the register.

Eight bucks and change for a Mother's Day card? Eeesh!

I know jkgrandma, but for the few things I do like buying, this would be an exception.

Haven't bought any cards for years...We make them..fold paper in fours and draw something or cut out pics of things and paste..this then becomes a special pic for the receiver..we make our own envelopes also...

I buy a lot of cards...so does my husband. I really love the recordable ones. Our grandson sent one to my husband in Iraq for Father's Day and recorded in his sweetest little 3 year old voice...Happy Father's Day, Papi!

I love you very much. Be safe and come home soon! Priceless!

O mygosh Jada! Thank you for playing that card for me! It's SO adorable!

Mark is going to love it, that's a given.

Is that not the sweetest little voice in the world! He loves him some Papi. Plus, ever since he watched Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) he thinks tha Papi goes to Iraq and turns into to Iron Man LOL!

He says...my Papi is a super hero and he turns into Iron Man and beats up the bad guys. Mark loves it.

Of course! Greeting cards will never be out-dated! Almost anybody will appreciate the thoughtfulness enclosed within a greeting URL1 make them more special, I design my own greeting cards and print them out.

I use photos and add effects. Sometimes, I make a new design entirely out from a blank canvas.

I put the pricey greeting card back. I eventually found another one that was a little less but still on the pricey side in my opinion. Honestly I usually buy cards in the Dollar Store where they sell for 2/$1.

While the selection isn't huge, I always find one that works. This particular day I was in a hurry. I have many friends who have turned to crafting their own cards claiming that they are more personal and less expensive.

I have other friends who strictly go the e-card greeting route. What about you? Have you given up buying greeting cards because of expense?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
