You might remember McCain won New Hampshire in 2000! He was not the choice of the establishment, they wanted GW Bush. So they torpedoed McCain in the next big primary state, South Carolina, with a vicious smear campaign!
In '08 McCain was The Chosen One. I know this sounds dumb but I really think Bush has a chance of coming to the front. I really believe the leaders of the GOP are not going to let Trump 'schlong' them and waltz away with their party.
I don't know what they'll do but they'll stop him. Maybe before New Hampshire, maybe after. With Trump out of the race it's a whole new race.
Bush has the most money behind him and he's got connections in the party his dad used to chair. He's off to an inauspicious start, but he was the establishment's candidate. And amazingly, though Christie was just enormously popular in 2012, the guy everyone wanted to run for president, today he's damaged goods.
Too many scandals. I don't think he has a real chance. And it doesn't matter because Hillary is going to be our next president.
Unless she makes some terrible mistake.
Out of those two, Bush. But to use a UK reference (I'm not from there but I pay attention) Bush is coming across like the Ed Milliband of US politics. So I don't fancy his chances either.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
