Do you think christians would still be christians if they weren't raised christians?

When I was 16 I read the "Origin of Species" for the first time. I stopped going to Church even though that was not very tolerated in my family. I didn't incur any punishment, though.

I was encouraged to read more, and read the God Delusion. I think that book along with what I was also reading like "Breaking the Spell" really turned me into a non-believer. Some good websites such as the Annotated Skeptics Bible and Evilbible.com where also illuminating and effective.

That was nearly 10 years ago. I still read a lot but not much about Atheism vs. Christianity, its such a vain and shallow culture discrepancy when you really get over it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
