Do you think it is moral for Americans to celebrate the death of Osama Bin Laden?

I don't know that celebrate is the word I would choose to say we are not mourning the death of a man that devistated our land. I think it better to say that we are relieved and yes, happy that he is no longer here to threaten us. However, I also do not feel the "threat" is gone.

I would lean more towards the thoughts that retaliation is probably not far behind for us. We would react no differently. In a more direct answer to this question... let us have our moment.

Many lives have fallen because of this man. Families will set one or two less plate on their dinner table because their brave father, son, daughter, friend gave their life to find this man and stop his terror reign. I say God bless our brave men and woman. As for Osama Bin Laden... Let him and God settle it.

I was pretty uncomfortable with our collective reaction. I'm not shedding any tears for the guy, but I don't think shouting U-S-A! U-S-A!

WOOOOOOO! Is the right response either.

That is the American spirits... Well Do you think it was right of him and his followers to bomb all those building, and put lots of fear in the hearts of the citizens...

Yes. He deserved to die. Capital punishment.

He earned it. Can't really dishonor the dishonorable.

100%. What I do think is wrong is disposing of his body so quickly, it makes one wonder.

I am not much happy with his death because I think that people actually don't know who he was. We only know what our media tells us. So we should personally research on this matter.

Who was he? And what he wanted from america by destroying their buildings? It makes me to think that what was his aims and what he was trying to do?

I personal think that the individuals that were celebrating had one reason or another for doing so. I myself didn't see any sense in it. To me there is 2 ways of looking at it, 1 the people were either over joyed by the fact that after 10 long years there was a President that did the right thing by making it his top priority in finding the real culprit that cause so much damage back in September 11 instead of just following the other presidents such as Bush and getting no where except trying to prove that he was one of the worse presidents this country ever had.

I believe the celebration was more for President Obama doing the right thing by going into the right country in the first place and then making the right decisions based on the intel he was getting and doing what no other President could do. 2nd and final reason which to me would be stupid is for anyone that did celebrate Bin Ladens death are total jerks. If you have read Obama and the military involved didn't want to make a martyr out of this person thats why they dumped him out to sea with holes in his coffin. So for all that those celebrating his death are just making him a martyr which he is not.

He was a sicko and a coward who hid behind his wife when the troops stormed in and shot the son of a bitch. So My Hats Off To The President and The NAVY SEAL. There the one that deserve a ticker tape parade.

No. But many people in America leap at any excuse to party.

Since he was a demon living in a devil's body, yes, it is perfectly fine and in good etiquette to celebrate his bloody demise. Damn him to hell, hope he rots there with Adolf .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
