Do you think the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms) should be selling guns to Mexican cartels?

In a word YES! Little Princess nailed it. I believe this was done intentionally and with full blessing from the Obama administration to push an anti-gun agenda.

Obama wanted to be able to say that the majority of the weapons being used in Mexico were purchased from legitimate American gun dealers. Therefore we need to have stricter gun control and more gun bans. Why else would the BATF allow so many Barrett .50 BMG rifles to go over the boarder.

These weapons are not used in drivebys. They are long range sniper and target rifles. This weapon in .50 caliber is already banned in Commiefornia.

Obama would love to ban it in the rest of the U.S. Along with many other so called "assault weapons" and handguns.

In an attempt to make it appear as though there were problems with guns being sold in the southwest and flowing across the border, BATFE set up a program which cleared and instructed various gun stores in Arizona to sell large quantities of weapons to straw purchasers of the drug cartels. Several of those guns ended up being used to kill US agents, most notably border patrol agent Brian Terry. A.G. Eric Holder has claimed he knew nothing about it yet was quoted 2009 praising the program.

Congress is currently attempting to investigate the situation.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
