Do you think the Republicans are trying to make President Elect Barack Obama eat his words...?

To Republicans the years 2000 - 2008 were filled with butterflies and rainbows. These guys are ignorant to reality and want someone to blame. The GOP points to Obama and says "There is your pariah, conservatives!

Get him!" While they sit back obstructing nearly every move the President tries to make. The American people are stupid - so stupid they buy into all this political buIIshit every 4 years.

They forget we were in dire straits back in 2004, but then Obama came into office and made it "so much worse!" How exactly? "He added X amount of debt!" - Well, to be fair, most of that debt hit the books in 2010 when our our credit rating was dropped due to tea-baggers in congress refusing to settle on a plan to pay back China.

And why did we owe trillions to China? That would be George W borrowing massive funds to pay for two wars without increasing taxes. But, you conservatives are right: lets just blame Obama.

"He lost X amount of jobs!" - The fact was on January 1, 2009 this country was at a 800,000 job loss average a month. He came in with jobs falling fast, and even though every conservative claims "government don't make jobs!" Obama still gets blamed for the job loss.

How the hell does that make any sense? "He gave us Obamacare!" - I know, I know, god forbid the people in this country actively care for their neighbors and those that are suffering. The sick, the old, the disabled: they are strains on the economy, right conservatives?

We should just cut them loose to the free market and, if they can't survive, oh well. At least we won't be spending tax dollars on them, right? How very Christian of all you Repub's.

During Obama's time in office, the debt has increased over 6 trillion. Obama is completely responsible for the policy and spending during his term... just like other Presidents are during their terms. The ironic thing about Obama is he blames the previous President but enacts policies (bailouts,spending) just like the past President.

Even more ironic, is during the first 2 years Obama had something other Presidents only dream about. The democrats controlled both the house and senate. Did they fix the pressing issues we faced as a country?

No, they did some more bailouts (same type of thing bush did) and pushed through obamacare. What's even more scary, they didn't pass a budget during those years. There is absolutely no reason for American to vote for 4 more years of incompetence.

Time for you to stop drinking the koolaid.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
