Does anyone have any recommendations for a good Netbook? Pros or Cons or other advice? Thanks in advance?

After MUCH research, I settled on the ASUS Eee PC 1000HE. I had been considering a netbook with a solid state (no moving parts) drive but the drive sizes were just too small. The 160 GB drive as well as the outstanding 9.5 hour battery life were what sold me on the machine.

The keyboard is higher rated than other netbooks too, and I find no difficulty typing on it. Features: 10.1-Inch screen Weighs 3.2 pounds Windows XP-Preloaded (but can get Linux instead) 160G HD Intel Atom 280 Processor (1.66 GHz, FSB: 667MHz) Battery lifespan of up to 9.5 hours. Wi-Fi 802.11n (2.4GHz only) Others I considered were the Dell Mini, Acer Aspire One, and the Toshiba Mini, but for the money and combination of features I was looking for, the ASUS was the clear winner.

Get it from amazon. Com for no tax and free shipping.

I hope this helps. I was just browsing and came upon several websites that might have some helpful information for you. squidoo.com/best-netbook squidoo.com/top-rated-netbook-computers-... Also, amazon has a great way of listing all available models as well as customer reviews of each product.

Below is a link to one such list. amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-ali... hope this helps. Best regards Pica.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
