Yes, a recognizable voice may be heard even if its content is not legible due to noise and din. It is so because our auditory system remains tuned to recognizable voices particularly those from dear ones.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
