Does anyone reckon Kendrick Lamar is the best rapper alive?

Is it funk or hip hop... because funk is the 70's and hip hop is 80's and later. Two totally different music genres. Funk is a blend of rock, soul, and blues.

Hip Hop is a blend of disco and rap. If it is funk, look for something by Funkadelic, Parliament, The Average White Band.... Perhaps... AWB - This World has Music? The above are all 70's ... funk.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
