Does anyone still use steamer trunks and such to travel!?

People use all kinds of things as luggage but rarely a "steamer trunk". eagletrunks.com/ Footlockers are more common as luggage, such as: amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&keywords… Remember to check the size/weight restrictions for the airline as many footlockers/trunks exceed the maximum size for regular checked luggage. It is also easy to exceed the 50 pounds/22 kg allowed for regular checked luggage if you are using a footlocker/trunk.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
