Does becoming drunk on a daily bases or have a achol addiction lead to domestic violence?

Currently I am trying to get together a coumminty service but to help Domestic Violence I need to know what causes it, my group and I belvie that achohoism is the leading cause for Child abuse. Please link websites and or information you may have on data that would relate these two matters together. Not Really For about three years I ran an addiction class. This was not hard for me to deal with since I am a recovered alcoholic and drug abuser. That's right I did say recovered.

I found that when the Lord takes an addiction its gone. But as for your question alcohol does not cause domestic violence, but the deep rooted cause of the dependence can lead to violence. The violence is usually connected to something from their past not their addiction.

The addiction however causes them to think that the habit rules over love or family. I have never seen anything work as well as Jesus.... I'm clean now 10 years now. Thank You Lord .

2 Although their is most likely a correlation between alcoholism and domestic violence, alcohol use does not cause domestic violence any more than automobiles cause car wrecks. Domestic violence is caused by a person (for whatever reason) being abusive to another person or persons. If you want to create a service to help address the problem of domestic violence, great.

I think that is a noble cause. If you want to create a service to deal with alcoholism, that to is a noble cause, but a separate issue.

3 Thank you both for your advice but what exscatly we are trying to do is to help start healing or start to stop the abuse and what relates to it and how we can fix that if its drugs or achohol then we need to help adress this or if there is something else that starts Domestic Violence or is a big cause help adress that cuase 10 years down the line I am wanting to see less and less violence.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
