Does DirectTV have an high-speed internet broadband option?

I'm thinking about switching over to Direct TV, but I have comcast high-speed and wanted to know if Direct TV has a high-speed internet broadband option. Does anyone know, and if they do, how reliable/good is it? Asked by superdave 61 months ago Similar questions: DirectTV high speed internet broadband option Computers > Internet.

DIRECWAY Satellite Broadband It is as reliable as satellite television. So, if your television goes out - your internet will go out as well. This can happen in a rainstorm or snowstorm if they're strong enough to move your satellite dish.

From what this site says, it is only about 7x faster than Dial up internet Cable is supposed to be 50x faster than Dial up internet so I wouldn't recommend it if cable is available. You would save money with a Time Warner package that includes TiVo, Digital Cable, and Cable Internet. Sources: srbijauzivo.co.yu/internet.htm#access .

Yes it is HughesNet I have heard it is very good, but have not used it. The thing that I worry about is rain fade. I have Directv and get rain fade during heavy rains and lose tv reception for various lengths of time.

If you live where it doesn't rain alot I don't think you would have the problem. Home Why HughesNet? Service Plans Speeds Coverage F.A.Q. Rebates Contact Us Account Check for Coverage in your area, Enter your Zip Code: Checking Coverage... HughesNET Satellite Internet, Anywhere!

Yes! DIRECTV does have an option for gh-Speed Broadband Internet. It can be added to your service plan and is used from the dish.My sister has it, but she is getting ready to change over to another ISP.

She said everytime the wind blows or it rains heavily, the signals go all screwy and that the connections are lost. Call around though and see what the DIRECTV people would say to you about the signals and what not. :) Sources: directv.com/DTVAPP/global/contentPage.js... .

They have a bundle now. It used to be directway, and the cost was outrageous. Now, it seems it's came down.As usual though, you have to see if it's in your area.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
