Does Lexington have any museums?

Lexington, KY has a number of museums catering to different tastes and age groups. A few have a horse theme since Lexington is known for its horse farms and events. To start with the horse museums, there is the American Saddlebred Museum.

The American Saddlebred is a horse breed native to the state of Kentucky. The Carriage Museum of America is dedicated to horse-drawn carriages and their history. The International Museum of the Horse has exhibits on the evolution of the horse and horse’s relationship to humans.

Anyone who loves trains will love museums such as the Bluegrass Railroad Museum and the Nostalgia Station Toy Train Museum. While on the transportation subject there is also the Aviation Museum of Kentucky for the airplane buff. The Explorium of Lexington is the place to go if there are children.

There are all kinds of exhibits for children to explore the world around them. Yahoo has a site with links to all the museum’s home pages. I could not really find discounts on the museums at this time but maybe a different time of the year would yield better results.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
