Does Mahalo get a lot of non-questions / spam / rubbish via Twitter and how do they deal with it?

As one of the community moderators I have probably have seen most if not all the Twitter spam that makes it onto Mahalo. I am pleased to report the Mahalo community has been really fast at using the "report" option when they see spam question is posted. We'll review each report and remove any question we believe has a negative impact on the community.

Actually, I think Mahalo is pretty rubbish-free compared to some of the other Q&A sites. Inappropriate "questions" get reported, and inane questions get voted uninteresting or ignored.

Yeah, there's barely no spam on here I have only seen two questions like that, since I joined the Mahalo. Some, questions are actually real questions but the asker didn't know how to phrase them correctly and therefore made no sense. But I try to give them a chance to correct it by asking for more info.

If I get no response after a certain time, I just report it. Twitter is not that big of a problem because not all questions from there are transferred to Mahalo, only the best ones chosen by members. We still have control over this sort of thing.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
