Does reducing the temperature in your house at night & during the daytime make a difference in your gas bill?

With gas heating you have forced air coming out the vents which heats up the air in the house quite fast, with a programmable thermostat you could turn on the heat a half hour before you wake up for example 70 F and turn it down to 65 F or lower a half hour before you leave. If you are not home for 9 or 10 hours why would you heat it. 10 minutes before you come home you let it heat up to 70 F until 1 hour before you go to sleep let it go down to 65 again.

Basically the warmer you want to have your house the more gas you need to burn exponentially to keep it warm thus a cooler house will keep those hard earned dollars in your wallet.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
