Does the law provide for fairness between parties or only fairness in administration of the law?

A law provides only what has been written into it, as applied. If there are 2 parties interpreting the applicable law differently in a given situation, then the Judicial System is accessed to obtain a finding from a Judge as to what is the most lawful application of the related laws. If the laws that pertain to the situation have been framed in a "fair" way, then there is hope the judgment will reflect that fairness.

If the law itself is inherently "unfair" then it is time to write your congressman, or become one...!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
