Does the law punish the unrighteous, the liar, the thief, whoremonger, disobedient, the manslayer? How did Paul see the application of law?

The law punishes law breakers. The law does not punish sinners. Individual societies regard certain acts as worthy of being on the statute book.

When a country by act or by deed separates religion - other than the freedom to practice, from the state, the distinction becomes apparent and indeed useful.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
