I agree that it is possible to support the Tea Party, the OWS movement and Christianity at the same time. The Taxed Enough Already party is about government spending and the resulting taxes that will eventually have to be paid as a result of the government borrowing and spending. "The Occupy Wall Street demonstrations that began in September 2011 do not put forward any single set of grievances or demands.
The protests reflect many points of views and widely different agendas. To the extent that a common concern may be identified, it is probably the gap between “the 1%”—wealthy traders and bankers at the top of the financial services sector—and “the 99%”—everyone else, including the demonstrators." As for Christianity, there are thousands of denominations.
While the different denominations don't always agree, most of them are compatible with having compassion for the less fortunate and basic human kindness. The economic hardships endured by many of the common people are often the impetus behind Christian charities.
You went off the end with the Christianity. Some Christians, like my Calvinist Protestant ones, go with the "tough love" style but others don't. I'm also not sure that the OWS movement began with bail outs, but that certainly spurred them on.
They were quickly taken over by socialist types like the Tea Party movement was swamped by conservatives so soon as it got traction. PS: I too am (true liberal) libertarian. True liberalism advocates: individual freedom, weak government, and free markets.
Conservatism advocates: moral responsibility, strong government, and protected markets. Progressives advocate: social concern, omniscient government, and controlled markets. Socialism advocates: social responsibility, omnipresent government, and collective markets.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
