Error installing gem sqlite3 - centos5.6?

An older guide shows how to install sqlite and all the devel packages too, plus some other tricks. It looks like you are just messing around with a tutorial, but if you are going to develop, I'd suggest installing a 'real' database. One with more features, and what not.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
