For 5.1 home theater, what is the preferred audio format between DTS and Digital Dolby sound?

The only way to find out is to audition both formats, ask around, shop around, etc. I used an RCA Home Theater Receiver that had both formats. I liked the DTS decoder better as each channel is rendered discretely--audibly so! Watching movies was fun in my reference (ten seat) dedicated home theater (now offline).

I'm amazed how good DTS sounded in spite of the decidedly Lo-Fi equipment ($200 total for a Home Theater in-a-box). Have fun! Hope this helps.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
