For the textbook Human Development by Kail, what is the difference between the 6th and 7th edition?

I am a Fashion Merchandising major at CSULB and I would definitely choose going there over FIDM. The reasons I chose CSULB over FIDM were: 1) The cost of tuition 2) You can only get an AA at FIDM (except at the LA campus) but at Long Beach you can get a Bachelor's or Master's 3) I wanted a real college experience 4) Many employers want someone with a well-rounded education, not just fashion 5) I heard horror stories about FIDM. Such as they accept everyone as long as they have money and are only in it for the money 6) You can change your major if you decide you don't want to work in fashion I have received an amazing education as a Fashion Merchandising major at CSULB.

We go on field trips to corporate headquarters of major companies, we have guest speakers from major companies come to our classes, we have an amazing annual fashion show, we have a fashion club, we have annual New York and Europe fashion study tours and our teachers provide us with job and internship opportunities all the time. I have not even graduated yet and am already working in the industry, while I have many friends who graduated with an AA from FIDM and are still working retail. You might want to consider SF State instead of USF because SF State has a Fashion Merchandising program as well.

However, I am from the SF area and chose not to go there because there is not much of a fashion industry up there. In Long Beach, you are between LA (which obviously has a large fashion district) and Orange County (which is the home of the surf/skate fashion industry). Good luck!

If you're looking at CSU Long Beach's fashion merchandising program, you should check out FIDM's merchandise marketing program. The advantage of FIDM over CSU Long Beach is that it's a specialty college that specializes in the fashion industry and yet they're still a 4 year college! My friends graduated from FIDM and they told me that FIDM is very well known throughout the fashion industry.

If you're unsure about what you'll major in, FIDM has a lot of programs in the fashion and entertainment industries that I'm sure they have something that would fit your interests. Living in Texas, you're smart to look into colleges in California because the colleges and universities here are awesome and for a career in the fashion industry, California is number one in terms of jobs available in fashion. Overall, your list of extracurricular activities is very impressive and I'm sure no matter which path you take, you will go far in life :) Check out FIDM's website and take their career quiz and see which program is right for you.

You could also talk to an adviser from the school and they could point you in the right direction. Good luck!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
