Force magento one page checkout to ignore shipment and payment method?

We have a well running magento shop version 1.4.0.1 we want to add a free product, for a short period, as a special offer. Now, is it possible to force the shippment and payment method in the one page checkout to be ignored, if only this special free product is in the cart? Because the shippment must be free too and the payment method isn't necessary.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
