Over time they should lighten and not be so obvious by themselves, however the best product I have used to treat acne scars was benzoyl peroxide it is very effective the only side effect is your skin may be a little dry but you can exfoliate and moisturize to counteract the dryness. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
