Happiness or Freedom?

I get your point. It's hard to be free and happy with people looking over your shoulder. If I were going to point to something to support the idea that Scientologists tend to not do very well or be very happy, I would discuss the fact that staff members are often mistreated and that many of them have told their stories of what it was like to be involved in that and how it felt.

I used to be a Scientologist. In some ways, membership in the church of Scn was ok as long as I kept it light. But people are encouraged to go deeper and deeper into it.

Families are encouraged to let their minor children join the Sea Org- a place where they would work 7 days a week and sign a billion year contract. I'm sorry, but that's just_plain_wrong. I do know non Church Scientologists who are relatively happy but I can't say that they are more or less spiritually free and happy than anyone else involved in metaphysical studies.

But at least they aren't being bankrupted and their children targetted.

If you do not know Jesus the Christ of Nazareth, the Messiah, as your personal savior, yet believe He is Lord, was born of the Virgin Mary, died for your sins, arose from the dead the third day and is now at the right hand of Almighty God, then if so lead say this simple prayer to be saved and have eternal life in the Kingdom of God and not be Judged for sins truly repented. “Hear Oh Israel the Lord our God is one Lord and blessed is the Glory of the Lord from His place; Precious Jesus the Christ of Nazareth please forgive me my sins and come into my heart and life forever Amen.” If you are sincere in this prayer then know for certain that you are saved and if you need help on your Christian walk email me back.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
