Has anyone else had an answer disappear after posting?

The problem might be with that of your browser. You might have clicked submit, and there may have been no response. Make sure you use Google Chrome or IE or mozilla or Opera latest version you can download these from filehippo.com I had experienced your symptoms once.

I just clicked back on Chrome and the answer I typed was luckily intact and I needn't have to type again. Try again and make sure you get these wordings "Thanks for answering! You earned two points.

You'll get 10 more points if your answer is selected as the best. " this will ensure that your answer has been posted.

This has happened to me, but for the moment, I can't remember the specific instance. I have been answering so many questions in the last few days.

If your question began like this: "Phantom pain results from the severing of a limb or amputation in which the brain still receives input from the nerve. Total, there are 31 pairs of nerves that serve the entire body. As you can imagine, each nerve serves many different areas."

Or this: "My father had phantom pains when he had his leg amputated right below the knee. He could still feel his foot for weeks. That is sooo weird."

Or this: "What is PAD? " Then it is there, if not then you should contact Mahalo and report it. There are a lot of bugs on the site and as far as I know they're "working on it", so we just have to sit tight :).

One of my answers is blank and has been replaced with "". Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to fix it? Where should I report this.. (it is a beta after all)?

...and I know there was at least one other poster to whom it happened as well, though I forget who at the moment (maybe Poppet?). What happened in my case (I believe) was that I had a window open on one computer where I was about to answer the question, but stopped (with the window still open). Then later, on a different computer, I brought up the blank answer screen and wrote my answer.

I saved it and posted it, and it looked fine at that moment. But that first window on the other computer was still open, and every 5 minutes, it tried to save a draft copy of the answer it had (which was blank). I believe this overwrote the contents of my answer in the database, at least temporarily, because as I reloaded the page many times, sometimes it came up blank, and sometimes it came up with my answer.

After a while (I think it was after the voting period closed), I stopped seeing the alternating versions and only saw the correct version in the answer list.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
